OpenSim conferences opens today

The OpenSimulator Community Conference opened this morning. This is the fifth year that AvaCon is running the conference, celebrating ten years of OpenSim.

It is being live streamed on YouTube.

From 7 to 8 a.m., Pacific time, the developers will discuss the latest 0.9 release of OpenSim. Panel members include developers Robert Adams, Melanie Milland and Ubit Umarov with AvaCon founder Joyce Bettencourt moderating the panel.

At 8 a.m., there will be a presentation about how the  Liverpool and Manchester Railway was modeled in OpenSim.

At 8:30 a.m., I will be giving a talk about OpenSim growth and other statistics.
