Maria Korolov was the keynote speaker at the Data & AI Summit 2024 in Lima, Peru.
It was a sold-out event that brought in executive leaders, entrepreneurs and experts in the practice of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence applied to the business world. There were more than 1,000 attendees and over 100 speakers from around the world, including senior executives from Google, Microsoft, Dell, and PwC.
Maria Korolov spoke about the evolution of enterprise AI, latest adoption and investment trends, near-future developments such as multi-modal generative AI and autonomous agents, the security and compliance risks posed by generative AI, and the best practices that companies need to follow when adopting the technology.
Her presentation was followed by an on-stage Q&A with the conference host.
Her speech was based on hundreds of interviews with enterprise executives, experts, and innovators over the past few years for leading global business technology magazines.
Her work has received numerous professional accolades including, most recently, the Azbee Silver award for her coverage of cybersecurity risks of generative AI, an Azbee Silver award for work on an article on data center sustainability, and the Azbee National Gold award — the highest in her field — for a feature story about AI, 5G, and robotics in a factory.
