New School Gets Support In Antioch

More than 150 people crowded into a recent meeting at Antioch Community High School to listen to a group called BEST explain its opposition to building a new $32 million school.

But most of them weren`t buying what BEST was selling.

Most of the audience at last week`s session disputed the contentions by BEST (Better Education, Stable Taxes) that renovation of the present school was the answer to accommodating a burgeoning population.
